Morowali, February 11, 2026 – Transparency is essential for building public trust and strengthening stakeholder relationships. Demonstrating this commitment, PT 乐播传媒 Indonesia Tbk (PT 乐播传媒), a member of the Indonesian Mining Industry Holding (MIND ID), opened its operational areas to village and sub-district governments within the Morowali Empowerment Area through a Mining Tour held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The initiative served as both an educational effort and an opportunity to deepen stakeholder engagement, ensuring that local leaders receive comprehensive and accurate information about the company’s activities. During the visit, village and sub-district officials were introduced not only to PT 乐播传媒’s operational processes, but also to the implementation of safety standards, environmental management practices, and on-site land rehabilitation efforts.

The tour began with an inspection of activities at the jetty, where participants observed how operations are conducted under rigorous safety controls and environmental monitoring to ensure coastal waters remain clear and protected. The group then continued with a tree-planting activity in a reclamation area, symbolizing the company’s long-term commitment to post-mining land restoration.

Arsan, the Sub-District Head of Bungku Timur, expressed appreciation for the company’s openness and commitment. “I would like to thank PT 乐播传媒 for inviting us. This is an extraordinary initiative because not all companies are this transparent. When we visited the jetty, I saw firsthand how PT 乐播传媒 prioritizes safety and environmental protection. The seawater is still very clear and well maintained,” he stated.

He also highlighted the effectiveness of sediment pond management. According to him, the company’s systems for handling mining runoff are well designed and capable of producing clear water that can be safely discharged into rivers.

“The sediment ponds are excellent—water flowing to the river is clear. This is proof of PT 乐播传媒’s commitment to environmental stewardship. We hope other companies in Morowali can follow this example. Ideally, visits like this could be conducted regularly, every four months or at least once a year,” he added.

Wafir, Head of Mine Operation Bahodopi, reaffirmed that collaboration and transparency are embedded in the company’s operational principles. “We truly appreciate the presence of village and sub-district leaders. Through initiatives such as the Mining Tour, we want stakeholders to see directly how we conduct operations safely, professionally, and transparently.”
