The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ S?o Lu¨ªs Botanical Park preserves an area of 100 hectares of native vegetation, home to various species of local fauna and flora, located within an environmental preservation area focused on sustainable development. Opening hours
Mondays to Saturdays, from 8 am to 4 pm.
The Park does not open on Sundays and holidays.
Attractions and structure of the S?o Lu¨ªs Botanical Park
The park has a structure that can hold up to 3,000 people. On site, visitors have access to different environments and facilities focused on environmental education and contact with nature, such as ecological trails, the Trail of the Senses, the Orchid House, the Herbarium, the Knowledge Wagon, the Cactus Garden and the Meliponary.
In addition to the physical structure, the park promotes educational activities, guided tours, and tours of the Ponta da Madeira Complex. These initiatives focus on environmental education and strengthening the interaction between ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, local communities, its employees and visitors.

Promoting education and culture is a fundamental part of the activities carried out at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ S?o Lu¨ªs Botanical Park. The space has three classrooms, each with capacity for 50 people, as well as an auditorium prepared to receive up to 200 participants.
In these spaces, events such as lectures, courses and seminars are held, aimed at both ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s internal staff and the local community and visitors. The park also has an amphitheater intended for cultural, theatrical and musical performances.

Rules and visit operations
At the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ S?o Lu¨ªs Botanical Park, everyone is welcome! The space is open to the public for visits Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM. During visits, educational and leisure activities are offered for all ages.
To ensure safety, conservation of the space and good coexistence among visitors, some rules must be followed:
? Bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, drones or similar equipment are not allowed, nor is the use of balls in the park areas.
? Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited, as is entering or moving around the park in swimwear.
? Celebrations and events are only allowed when they comply with the specific regulations for holding picnics in the Park.
? For conservation and safety reasons, domestic animals are not allowed in the Park.

Visit to the Complex
Sensory Trail
Focusing on the inclusion of everyone who passes through the Park, the Trilha dos Sentidos (Sensory Trail) is an accessible visitation space for people with mobility and visual disabilities. On the trail, visitors find five stations that lead them to explore the five senses and emotions.
Knowledge Railroad Car
Meliponary
Here, visitors find a total of 26 wooden boxes with overpopulated swarms of bees, which may reach up to 5,000 bees per box. In our meliponary, we work with two species of stingless bees: the Ti¨²ba (Melipona fasciculada) and the Mosquito Bee (Plebeia M¨ªnima).
Orchid Garden
Opened in 2011, the Orquid¨¢rio S?o Lu¨ªs (S?o Lu¨ªs Orchid Garden) is the first one open to the public in the city. This space houses collections of orchids native to Brazilian biomes, such as Oncidium cebolleta (Jacq.), Catasetum sp, Oeceoclades maculata (Lindi), Epidendrum nocturnum (Jacq.), among other species.
