An initiative of Esta??o Conhecimento Serra, sponsored by the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Cultural Institute through the Federal Cultural Incentive Law, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Esp¨ªrito Santo Project serves 250 participants aged 7 to 29 in Cidade Continental, Serra, and 70 students aged 7 to 11 at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Center located in the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Botanical Park in Vit¨®ria.
The project features several Reference Groups:

The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Choir has delivered memorable performances featuring special guest appearances by renowned Brazilian artists such as Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, and Roberto Menescal.
The choir¡¯s students have also performed at the International Choir Festival in Belo Horizonte and participated in tributes to Rita Lee and Raul Seixas. Their repertoire includes classical choral music, a cappella pieces, and popular music arrangements for four or more voices, presented with a scenic approach that integrates music, theater, and dance. The choir is conducted by Max Michel Alves.
In 2023, the group staged the performance Tropic¨¢lia at the Federal University of Esp¨ªrito Santo (Ufes) Theater, featuring a repertoire dedicated to the Tropicalismo movement ¡ª led by Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil ¡ª which revolutionized Brazilian popular music in the late 1960s.
In 2025, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Choir performed alongside singer and composer Fl¨¢vio Venturini at the Festa da Penha, a traditional celebration honoring the patron saint of Esp¨ªrito Santo, with a repertoire paying tribute to the Clube da Esquina collective.

One of the most established ensembles within the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Esp¨ªrito Santo Project, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Orchestra is composed of 27 members between the ages of 12 and 25. The group has performed in concerts honoring the 50-year career of Milton Nascimento (2013), a tribute to Ivan Lins featuring the artist himself and pianist Gilson Peranzzetta (2015), and a concert celebrating the 80th birthday of Roberto Menescal (2016).
In September 2022, the orchestra adapted original songs by local bands from Esp¨ªrito Santo into symphonic arrangements for the concert ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Orchestra and Guests, featuring members of the bands Manimal, Java Roots, Rastaclone, Heran?a Negra, Casaca, and Salva??o.
In June 2023, the group presented the concert ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Orchestra invites Marcelo Caldi ¨C A Tribute to Dominguinhos at the Federal University of Esp¨ªrito Santo (Ufes) Theater, celebrating the work of Dominguinhos with special guest accordionist, composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Marcelo Caldi. The performance was reprised in July 2025 during the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ + Comunidade na Praia event at Camburi Beach in Vit¨®ria.
In May 2024, the orchestra participated in the concert Tribute to Piazzolla, alongside the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Camerata and violinist Priscila Rato, honoring Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla (1921¨C1992), widely regarded as the ¡°revolutionary of tango.¡±
The group regularly takes part in music festivals, including the Esp¨ªrito Santo Classical Music Festival and the Domingos Martins Winter Festival. The orchestra is conducted by Maestro Lucas Anizio.

Comprising 20 musicians between the ages of 17 and 28, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Jazz Band follows the traditional big band format, featuring five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones, and a rhythm section consisting of bass, drums, guitar, and piano.
Formed in 2015, the ensemble has built an impressive portfolio of performances alongside acclaimed artists such as singer-songwriter Jo?o Bosco, pianist Gilson Peranzzetta, mandolinist Hamilton de Holanda, and Honduran-born Brazilian singer Indiana Nomma. The group also participated in the I Love Jazz Festival (Minas Gerais), performing with vocalist Alma Thomas in the concert Divas of Jazz.
The band has gained recognition for its tribute concerts honoring jazz legends Duke Ellington and Count Basie, as well as for its collaborations with conductor and pianist Nelson Ayres. Currently, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Jazz Band is conducted by Maestro Tiago Veloso.
On October 5, 2025, the group released five recordings from the album Tinta Fresca on the website https://projetotintafresca.my.canva.site. The album features original compositions by musicians from Esp¨ªrito Santo who skillfully navigate the jazz genre.

One of the reference ensembles of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Esp¨ªrito Santo Project, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Symphonic Band is composed of approximately 50 members between the ages of 11 and 26. The group has an impressive track record of performances, including tributes to Brazilian music icons Elis Regina, Tim Maia, and the band Roupa Nova, as well as the concert The Divine Comedy, inspired by Dante Alighieri¡¯s literary classic.
The band has also presented themed performances dedicated to film soundtracks, the centenary of samba, World Cup concerts, samba-rock, and a tribute to Djavan¡¯s 70th birthday. Its instrumentation includes woodwind instruments (flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, and saxophone), brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba), and percussion.
The ensemble is currently conducted by Maestra Ludhymila Bruzzi.

The results can already be seen in practice: in 2023, the waste pickers signed the first contract for the collective sale of recyclable materials to industry, a historic achievement in the history of these groups. The contract guarantees the purchase of PET from the waste pickers' associations for the production of sustainable suppressant, a product we use in the environmental control of our operations at the Tubar?o Unit, to prevent dust emissions.
¡°We have realized the dream of selling collectively to the industry and Reciclo has helped to materialize a dream to bring more dignity to the families of waste pickers,¡± said L¨²cio Heleno dos Santos, president of the Solidarity Economy Network of the United Waste Pickers of Esp¨ªrito Santo (Reunes).
One of the beneficiaries is Josimeire Jesus dos Santos, a representative of the Association of Recyclable Materials Collectors of Vit¨®ria (Ascamare), who reveals with emotion the importance of Reciclo in the lives of the collectors.
"First of all, the Reciclo project was very important because it brought visibility to our association. A company like ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ recognizing our work and supporting us was wonderful. It gave us the chance to have machinery, like the press, which we couldn't afford.
We've increased the productivity of our support collection, we've increased our members' earnings and income, so we can only thank them for their partnership. And the support is not just about donating material, but also about creating projects that enable our association to train. Today we already have this thanks to the Reciclo project.
Expanded support
In order to contribute to increasing the supply of raw materials to waste pickers, our company donates all the recyclable waste produced at the Tubar?o plant to the associations. In 2024, we also installed machines to collect recyclable packaging in places where people circulate, such as supermarkets and the Coastal Park in Jardim Camburi. In addition, more than 150 new selective collection points were set up in condominiums and companies in the metropolitan region, increasing the collection of materials and the income obtained from the sale by waste pickers' associations.

Our commitment to people, their well-being and generating value for society is always present in our actions. An example of this is the significant results we achieve with supplier deliveries through the Partilhar Program. This initiative aims to support and encourage our supply chain to contribute to the sustainable development of the regions where we operate.
In 2024, more than 40 supplier companies carried out around 380 social actions in Esp¨ªrito Santo. Throughout 2024, social investment amounted to approximately R$5.28 million in the state. Of the total, the amount earmarked for initiatives aimed at technical training and vocational courses was around R$643,000, approximately 12% of the total. For education, sport and culture, approximately R$1.68 million was allocated, which represents around 32% of the total. Among the investments in renovations and construction of spaces and social organizations, the amount was around R$509,000.
All in all, more than 600 jobs were created, with a wage bill of more than R$25 million. What's more, local spending exceeded R$35 million, boosting Esp¨ªrito Santo's economy in a concrete way and generating new opportunities. The more we strengthen those around us, the more the communities we live in are strengthened. This is the aim of the Share Program, an initiative that encourages collaboration to make a difference.
One partner company that has collaborated a lot with the purpose of the Sharing Program is Metalvix, which has supported various initiatives and made donations and repairs to institutions indicated by us, especially the Casa Lar Meninos Rosalina Bahiense.
"Being able to contribute to such significant improvements for institutions in need has become a social purpose that we share with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, and we have the Share Program for that. At the Rosalina Bahiense Boys' Home, for example, we created a digital library, helped with structural renovations and all of this is an opportunity for growth, dignity and access to knowledge for children and adolescents who really need it," says Derlayne Borghi, administrative supervisor at Metalvix Engenharia e Consultoria.

Results of the Partilhar Program in Brazil (2020 to 2024):
- More than 31,000 jobs generated;
- More than R$ 78 million invested in voluntary social actions;
- Operating in six states: Minas Gerais, ±Ê²¹°ù¨¢, Esp¨ªrito Santo, Maranh?o, Rio de Janeiro and Mato Grosso do Sul.
The actions are part of the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA) signed by the company with the public authorities and the community.
Since 2019, approximately 110,000 visitors have followed our initiatives, strengthening the open dialog with communities.
As part of the Environmental Master Plan, we have expanded our effluent storage and treatment capacity. By 2026, the water reserve will grow from 60,000 m? (2018) to 220,000 m?, an increase of 200%.
The aim of the initiative is to bring together and strengthen the relationship between ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and the school community through dialog, active listening and proactive interaction.
We reinforce our commitment, transparency and partnership through technology workshops in Greater Vit¨®ria, educational robotics workshops, a partnership with the Learning Operations area and technical visits to the Tubar?o Unit.
Program figures
More than 88,000 participants, including students and teachers, involved;

Preserving historical heritage
We sponsor the restoration of monuments such as the Anchieta Sanctuary, the Reis Magos Church, Bonde 42, the Ros¨¢rio Church and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Vit¨®ria. For over 15 years, we have supported the Festa da Penha, the state's cultural heritage.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Serra (ES)
Created in 2000, the initiative promotes musical education for students from the public school system in Esp¨ªrito Santo. The project includes an orchestra and a youth chamber ensemble, a symphonic band, a children's choir, a youth choir and a jazz band.
At ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, we believe that innovation goes far beyond technology. To innovate, we need to transform people's lives. This is how the Knowledge Station came about in 2011, an initiative of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Foundation, through partnerships with public and private institutions that cater for children through to senior citizens. The space promotes sporting, cultural, educational and vocational activities.
The product, developed in partnership with the Federal University of Esp¨ªrito Santo, prevents dust emissions, reduces waste disposal and generates income for recyclable material collectors
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has started using a PET plastic-based dust suppressant on an industrial scale at its Tubar?o Unit in Vit¨®ria (ES). The new product is the result of 10 years of research by the company in partnership with the Federal University of Esp¨ªrito Santo (UFES). The plastic goes through a chemical recycling process that turns it into a resin to be applied to iron ore and coal piles, forming a protective film that prevents dust emissions.
The dust suppressant is an environmental control commonly used in the company's operations and can be made from various raw materials, such as glycerin, but its production from recycled plastic is unprecedented and patented by ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and Ufes. Since 2013, the university and the company have carried out tests and technical validations on laboratory and pilot scales that attest to the product's efficiency. In addition to ensuring efficient environmental control, the sustainable suppressor has the potential to remove more than 1 million PET bottles from the environment every month for production in Esp¨ªrito Santo, which should reach 400,000 liters/month by 2024. The number could reach up to 2 million bottles in 2026, with the planned expansion to other operations, which will require a total of 780,000 liters of suppressant. In June 2024, the first dust suppressant plant based on recycled PET plastic was inaugurated in Cariacica, Esp¨ªrito Santo. Developed through a partnership between ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and the Federal University of Esp¨ªrito Santo (Ufes), the suppressant contributes to reducing waste disposal, generates income for recyclable material collectors and reduces dust emissions from operations in Tubar?o. The 2,700 square meter Biosolvit plant has the capacity to process 70 tons of plastic per month.
