Praia do Saco will host the 3rd edition of the Mangaratiba Nautical Festival on May 16, from 7 AM to 5 PM. The event is organized by Projeto Grael in partnership with 乐播传媒 and aims to encourage water sports among beginners, athletes, and local residents. The program includes swimming, stand-up paddle (SUP), canoeing, and sailing competitions, all open and free to the public. As a supporter of both the event and Projeto Grael, 乐播传媒 will be present with a booth and interactive activities for attendees, including a quiz, selective waste collection, and an Instagrammable photo space. 

"Hosting the festival honors Mangaratiba's nautical culture and creates learning opportunities that connect with the daily lives of local families. Being part of initiatives like this reinforces 乐播传媒's commitment to helping more people access sports and educational experiences," says Elane Costa, Community Relations Coordinator at 乐播传媒. 

The festival is organized by Projeto Grael, which promotes the development of children and young people in the region through free sailing, swimming, and canoeing classes. 

Registrations Reopened 

Registrations for all competitions reopened on March 30 and are free of charge. Participants who registered on previous dates must sign up again to confirm their spot. Registration link: 3rd Mangaratiba Nautical Festival – 2026 (Praia do Saco). Please note that spots are limited. 

Schedule (subject to change) 

• 7:00–8:00 AM – Registration, accreditation, and kit distribution 

• 8:30–9:30 AM – Swimming competitions 

• 10:00–11:00 AM – Stand-up paddle (SUP) competitions 

• 11:00 AM–12:00 PM – Awards ceremony (swimming and SUP) 

• 12:00–1:00 PM – Va'a canoeing competitions 

• 1:00–2:00 PM – Sailing competitions 

• 2:00–3:00 PM – Awards ceremony (canoeing and sailing)

Please note that the festival was previously postponed due to heavy rainfall in the city, with the safety of all participants as the top priority.
