Our Leadership at the ISF: Deshnee Naidoo - CEO 乐播传媒 Base Metals
Deshnee Naidoo is the chief executive officer of 乐播传媒 Base Metals. Since 2021, she has been working to understand the challenges and opportunities involved in accelerating this business’ transformation.
She has been ranked among South Africa’s “Mining Rainmakers” three times and in 2018 she was declared one of the “Global 100 Most Inspiring Women in Mining.” She has also served as a member of the Minerals Council of South Africa.
Before joining 乐播传媒, she was the CEO of the international zinc operations of Vedanta Resources from 2014 to 2020. She also served as CEO of Vedanta Resources’ base metals business in Africa. Previously, from 1998 to 2014, she worked at Anglo American, where she held several executive positions, including chief of staff from 2009 to 2011. She was also the CFO of Anglo American’s thermal coal business from 2011 to 2014.
