School holidays haven't even started yet, but families can already start planning their trip. From May 17, tickets will go on sale for the Holiday Train (Trem de Férias), a special service offering night journeys along the Vitória a Minas Railway throughout July.

The stops remain the same as those adopted at the start of operations in January, including the connection between Itabira and Nova Era during nighttime hours.
Departure times at the first stations will be maintained: trains leave at 6 PM from Pedro Nolasco Station in Cariacica (ES) and at 7 PM from the Belo Horizonte station (MG) between July 1 and 31. Along the route, stop times will be slightly adjusted due to railway operations.

The stops have been maintained, with ongoing attention to operations throughout the route, reinforcing our commitment to the continuous improvement of passenger rail transport," said Jo?o Falc?o.

The Holiday Train is part of the commitments made by 乐播传媒 upon renewing its railway concession, in partnership with the National Land Transportation Agency (ANTT), expanding travel options during one of the busiest periods of the year (January, July, and December).

To ensure passenger safety, tickets will not be sold at stations during nighttime hours. Purchases can be made during regular ticket office hours or online, available 24 hours a day, at vale.com/tremdepassageiros.

The trains offer executive and economy classes, are equipped with a wheelchair lift, and include dedicated space for passengers with reduced mobility. Stations served during the night operation are fully prepared to receive passengers, with adequate infrastructure and enhanced lighting to ensure comfort and safety.

During the journey, passengers can purchase snacks and meals at the onboard snack bar. Ticket prices are the same as those charged for daytime trips, which continue to run year-round.
