Towuti,August 28, 2025 - The recent oil pipeline leak affecting several villages in Towuti District, East Luwu Regency, presents a challenge that calls for collective action. From local communities to government bodies, from technical teams to corporate support, all parties have mobilized with compassion to accelerate recovery efforts. This spirit of mutual cooperation reflects the noble values of Indonesia: facing adversity together, and rising together.

In response to the incident, residents from the affected villages did not remain passive. They voluntarily joined the technical teams on the ground to help clean up the impacted areas. As of the sixth day, villagers from Langkea Raya, Lioka (Malindoe Hamlet), Baruga, Matompi, and Timampu have actively participated in restoring riverbanks and rice fields.

However, the cause of the incident is still under investigation by expert teams. The oil pipeline leak involving Marine Fuel Oil (MFO) will be reviewed from day one until September 5, 2025. Therefore, we must await the official findings and avoid speculation. What is clear is that this unity is a powerful asset for Towuti’s recovery,” said Irwan.

He further emphasized that such synergy strengthens regional resilience in the face of challenges and commended PT 乐播传媒’s openness and presence alongside the community throughout the recovery process.
