Tanamalia Project
Tanamalia Project is a development initiative of PT 乐播传媒 Indonesia Tbk, grounded in the Special Mining Business License (IUPK) and Forestry Borrow-Use Permit (PPKH) Nomor 855 of 2025 for exploration activities within forest areas.
The project aimed at optimizing the value of Indonesia’s mineral resources while supporting national development and the advancement of the lateritic nickel industry.
Located within Protected Forest and Limited Production Forest areas covering 13.556,8 hectares in Towuti District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, exploration activities have been conducted in phases since 1970. Looking ahead, the project is planned to proceed to detailed exploration (2025–2026), construction (2027–2028), and mining operations at the earliest by 2030, subject to the feasibility of nickel reserves.

The Tanamalia Project is currently in the Front End Loading (FEL) 2 study phase. FEL serves as PT 乐播传媒’s project management framework. This methodology outlines how projects are developed and planned, covering technical, economic, environmental, and business aspects relevant to the Company.
During the study phase, data on nickel content will be collected and analyzed. This data will be used to determine the feasibility of proceeding with mining operations. There are three phases in the FEL Study process:
FEL 1 – Business Feasibility
FEL 2 – Alternative Selection
FEL 3 – Execution Planning

Multiplier effect
In carrying out its operations, PT 乐播传媒 consistently ensures that affected areas experience a meaningful multiplier effect. This includes not only the creation of employment opportunities, but also the expansion of access to essential services, such as improvements in community infrastructure and facilities, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of the living standards of impacted communities.
Several community development initiatives implemented in Tanamalia in 2025 include:
- Vocational training in welding, electrical work, and business administration
- Donation of books to the Tokalimbo Village Library
- Digital Communication Training #WriteYourVoice for youth in Loeha Raya
- Site visit to PT 乐播传媒 by students from SDN 279 Rante Angin
Empowering the Local Workforce
PT 乐播传媒 is committed to prioritizing the empowerment of local talent across all of its projects.
This commitment extends to the Tanamalia Block, where the Company is dedicated to providing opportunities for meaningful contribution to the local communities of Loeha Raya, in line with its ambition to become an organization driven by a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.
Vocational Training
Each year since 2023, approximately 100 youths from five villages in Loeha Raya have participated in vocational training programs. The skills developed include heavy equipment operations (excavators, dump trucks, and dozers) as well as technical competencies (welding, electrical work, and business administration). Participants who complete the training receive certification that can be used to support their employment applications.
