July is Bio-Holiday Month at Parque Costeiro ¨C Check Out the Program

At the end of Camburi Beach¡¯s shoreline, in Vit¨®ria, Esp¨ªrito Santo, Parque Costeiro is a space to learn, explore, and connect with nature. During July, recognized as Mangrove Month and also Bio-Holiday Month, the park offers an environmental and educational program designed for audiences of all ages.

In addition to scheduled activities, visitors can enjoy the park¡¯s permanent attractions, such as the Guaiamum Trail, the viewpoint, the terrace, and the sensory garden¡ªideal environments for contemplation and contact with coastal ecosystems.

Check out this month¡¯s special program and come visit us! The park is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Temporary Program (Weekdays and Weekends)

Orca Institute Exhibition
Parque Costeiro, in partnership with the Orca Institute, presents an exhibition featuring one of the largest biological collections of marine mammals in the world, built over more than 30 years of work.

Seahorse Project Exhibition
A traveling exhibition featuring real seahorse specimens and interactive materials to share essential knowledge about Brazilian seahorses.

Phytoplankton: The Tiny Giants of the Oceans
Come observe under microscopes these organisms invisible to the naked eye that produce about 50% of the oxygen we breathe. This activity combines citizen science and environmental education to highlight their importance to life on Earth.

Seahorses: Guardians of the Estuary
Observe up close seahorses of the species Hippocampus reidi, a bioindicator of mangroves and estuaries. Through an educational aquarium, visitors can learn about their life cycle and behavior.

Science at Sea Project ¨C School Sailboat
The project arrives at Parque Costeiro offering onboard field classes. A true immersion in ocean culture with the opportunity to learn how scientific ocean research works. Classes last up to 1 hour and 30 minutes, with four groups available per day.

A Day in the Park: Brazil, Champion by Nature
Come celebrate nature at ¡°A Day in the Park,¡± the largest mobilization event for protected areas in Brazil. Bring your family and friends to experience biodiversity and connect with nature.

Shark Week ¨C Ocean Guardians Project
Shark Week: Dive into the fascinating world of sharks and rays with a week full of educational and interactive activities.

Science at Costeiro
On the weekend of World Mangrove Day, the park celebrates the importance of conserving this ecosystem with exhibition activities. Researchers from the park-supported scientific project will share discoveries from ongoing research on Camburi¡¯s mangroves and their endangered species.

Marcos Daniel Institute
Come explore mangroves and urban caimans up close in a special program with exhibitions, workshops, and observation trails in the mangrove.

Learn more about sea turtles through our biological materials exhibition.

Beach Field Class
A field class to explore the biodiversity of natural tide pools in the northern area of Camburi. Activity for all ages. Registration link:

Guided Visits to Tubar?o Unit
Due to an internal activity at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Botanical Park between July 21 and August 12, visits will depart from Parque Costeiro.

Discover firsthand how the mining production process works and how ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ operates in local territories.

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. | Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
**Registration at the park administration, closing 15 minutes before bus departure.

Permanent Program

Guaiamum Trail
Guided walks with opportunities to observe native flora and fauna of the restinga and mangrove ecosystems.
