About the Rio Tanque Project
The Rio Tanque Project works are in their second year of execution and include the implementation of a new water intake and treatment system, with a capacity of up to 600 liters per second — higher than the municipality's current demand, estimated at around 400 liters per second. The structure includes a pipeline of approximately 25 kilometers, pumping stations, and a new Water Treatment Plant (WTP), which will be operated by the Itabira Autonomous Water and Sewage Service (SAAE) after the completion of the works.
 

The Rio Tanque Project is part of an agreement signed between 乐播传媒, the Minas Gerais State Public Prosecutor's Office, the Municipality of Itabira, and SAAE, with independent audit oversight.
