Masamba, December 23, 2025 — As rainfall intensity rises and certain areas face growing vulnerability to floods and landslides, strengthening regional resilience has become an urgent necessity. Responding to this challenge, PT 乐播传媒 Indonesia Tbk (PT 乐播传媒), part of the MIND ID Group, has taken strategic steps in collaboration with the North Luwu Regency Government through the donation of an excavator unit, technical study documents, 10,000 liters of operational fuel, and a tree-planting initiative as part of watershed rehabilitation efforts.

The excavator donation is expected to support local government activities in dredging rivers and waterways that have become silted. This measure aims to increase water flow capacity, reduce flood risks—especially during the rainy season—and promote sustainable maintenance of water resource infrastructure.

Complementing these technical solutions, tree planting serves as a strategic effort to address the impacts of climate change that trigger extreme weather. Watershed rehabilitation is expected to strengthen environmental carrying capacity, reduce surface runoff, and create regions that are more resilient to future disasters.

Support for this initiative was also expressed by Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, Governor of South Sulawesi:

Meanwhile, Andi Abdullah Rahim, Regent of North Luwu, conveyed appreciation for the synergy between provincial government, local government, and the private sector: “With this assistance, we will continue striving to provide the best services for our community in North Luwu,” said the Regent.
