ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Performs for the First Time in Governador Valadares with the "Arrai¨¢ Sinf?nico" Show
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Youth Orchestra will make its debut in Governador Valadares on June 20th, at 8:00 PM, at Teatro Atiaia, with the show "Arrai¨¢ Sinf?nico" (Symphonic Hoedown). The free performance brings together symphonic arrangements inspired by Northeastern Brazilian music, paying tribute to the work of accordionist and composer Dominguinhos and other great names in Brazilian music, such as Alceu ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½n?a, Geraldo Azevedo, and Z¨¦ Ramalho, among others.
Tickets will be available in two batches, opening on June 15th, with a second release on June 19th.
Under the baton of conductor Lucas Anizio, the concert revisits classics of Brazilian popular culture in a proposal that blends the sound of concert music with the strength and poetry of the Northeastern repertoire. Audiences will be able to hear iconic songs such as Anuncia??o, Lamento Sertanejo, Cora??o Bobo, and Ch?o de Giz, among other works celebrating the country's celebrated composers.
A total of 34 musicians will take the stage in Governador Valadares, in a special formation prepared for the performance.
"We selected songs with beautiful melodies and unforgettable lyrics from forr¨®, xote, and bai?o, among other popular rhythms given a symphonic treatment through arrangements crafted especially for the show. Everything was planned with great care, and we hope the audience will cherish this moment," says conductor Lucas Anizio.
The show reinforces ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica Esp¨ªrito Santo's mission to broaden access to musical education and promote world-class artistic experiences, bringing diverse audiences closer to instrumental and symphonic music.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ M¨²sica is an initiative of Instituto Cultural ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, sponsored by ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ through the Rouanet Law (Federal Cultural Incentive Law). The event is produced by Esta??o Conhecimento Serra and the Ministry of Culture, with support from the Municipality of Governador Valadares.
