Supporting Sumatra¡¯s Recovery: PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Disaster Victims in Collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

Jakarta/Makassar, December 6, 2025 ¡ª In line with its CARES values and commitment to social responsibility, PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Indonesia Tbk (PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½), as part of MIND ID, joined forces with Indonesia¡¯s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the ¡°ESDM Disaster Response¡± program to provide humanitarian assistance to communities affected by natural disasters in Sumatra. This initiative was carried out in synergy with local governments and regional disaster management agencies (BPBD).

The aid was distributed in two phases on December 4 and 6, 2025, ensuring timely and targeted support for impacted communities.

Cross-Regional Collaboration: From Sulawesi and Java to Sumatra
On December 4, PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ delivered aid at the Medan Disaster Response Post, received by BPBD South Sulawesi, ESDM Regional Office Sulsel, BPBD North Sumatra, and representatives of the North Sumatra Provincial Government. This cross-provincial coordination reflects a rapid, multi-stakeholder response to accelerate distribution to the hardest-hit areas.

The second phase took place on December 6 at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base Relief Post in Jakarta, under ESDM¡¯s coordination. This national distribution hub serves as a central point for collecting and dispatching aid to affected regions across Sumatra.

Budiawansyah, Director & Chief Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Officer at PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, emphasized: ¡°This assistance reinforces our commitment to accelerating community recovery while ensuring integrated humanitarian support between central and local governments and the industry. We hope this contribution eases the burden on survivors and speeds up recovery efforts. The spirit of collaboration in ¡®ESDM Disaster Response¡¯ proves that disaster management is only effective when all parties work together.¡±

From Emergency Relief to Sustainable Resilience
The aid includes essential supplies such as food, hygiene kits, medicines, and other logistical support based on local needs. This initiative aligns with PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½¡¯s CARES values ¡ª Compassion, Accountability, Resilience, Excellence, and Sustainability ¡ª guiding its social contributions and responsible operations.

As climate-related disasters become more frequent in Indonesia, corporate participation in disaster management ecosystems is increasingly vital. PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½¡¯s involvement in ¡°ESDM Disaster Response¡± demonstrates how companies can play a significant role in strengthening national resilience ¡ª from rapid response to long-term recovery.

Synergy for a Stronger Indonesia
Delivering aid at two strategic locations underscores PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½¡¯s commitment to being present when communities need it most. Collaboration between PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, ESDM, BPBD, and local governments proves that cross-regional and cross-sector synergy is key to accelerating post-disaster recovery.

From one aid package delivered, one family supported, to one collaborative network mobilized ¡ª recovery is a shared journey. PT ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Indonesia will continue to champion humanitarian efforts as part of building a stronger, more resilient society.
